Pessina, Arturo - Signed Photograph in Tosca Enrico Caruso Rolly KentItalian baritone (1858 1926), sang throughout Italy and made guest appearances at the Royal Opera Convent Garden, among other theatres. Following his 1910 retirement, became a leading voice teacher, one of his most prominent pupils was the well known bass Tancredi Pasero. Very attractive signed vintage photograph mounted onto a cabinet, shown most likely as Scarpia in Puccini's Tosca, inscribed in Rome, dated in 1902. Bold handwriting and signature.
